Parking:

Many area hotels provide parking for overnight guests, and many are within walking distance and/or offer shuttle services. We recommend that you check with your hotel for more information before you request a reserved parking permit for The Pyle Center or The Lowell Center.

Generally, it isn’t necessary to rent a car if you arrive via Dane County Regional Airport. The airport is located only about six miles from the downtown Madison and UW campus area, and ample taxi and limousine service is available.

Public parking is available near the conference center at the State Street Campus Ramp, 415 North Lake Street, Madison, WI 53715.

City of Madison Public Parking Ramps
Several parking garages, surface lots, and on-street parking spaces are located within a short walk of the Conference Centers. Most city and campus lots operate on a first-come, first-served basis, but some have limited visitor permits. A typical charge for parking in a City of Madison ramp for the day is about $13.00 cash or charge. Public parking ramps and metered street parking spaces are available without advance reservations, but are often filled to capacity by 10:00 a.m. Refer to the map for lot locations.

Parking for Persons with Disabilities
Generally, drivers with State of Wisconsin disabled permits or DIS and VET plates may park in the parking stalls designated for persons with disabilities near the Conference Centers (unless signs indicate UW disabled permits are required) and at the meters (if over 30 minutes) without paying an additional fee. Customers with special needs are encouraged to contact their meeting coordinator to make appropriate arrangements.
